God led me to Himself when I was 23 years old through a group of friends in my first year

medical school class in Charleston. It was then that God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love, showed me that I was dead in my trespasses and made me alive together with Christ. I am thankful for all the people that God used, including my parents, who planted seeds early in my life that eventually led to the gift of saving faith that comes by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.

The Lord brought Katie into my life in 2010, and we were married the following year. Since then, we have moved from Charleston, to Greenwood, to Dillon, and then to Lexington in 2019. We have been blessed with two children, John David and Grace. I am thankful that the Lord led our family to Rivercrest. We have loved worshiping here with His people and hanging out with the children at RiverKids on Sunday mornings.
