We desire to be a church that faithfully centers itself around the story of Jesus Christ and His redemptive work. We recognize that union with Christ is not just for our good, but primarily, it's for His glory, and that if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come (2 Cor. 5:17). So we seek to actively proclaim the truth that it is only by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, and for the glory of God alone that we might be forgiven, redeemed, restored, and set free to walk in renewed relationship with our Creator, and with our neighbors.

 

We recognize that the gospel of Jesus Christ is a message that must be spoken, a story that must be told, in order that it might be heard and received, so we live now as ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us (2 Cor. 5:20).

Because of that renewed and restored relationship with God, we understand that the gospel is also a message that radically reorients the lives of those who trust in Christ alone for their eternal lives, so it is our desire to serve our Lord as His Holy Spirit empowered agents of reconciliation in every sphere of life in which we participate, proclaiming the truth that for our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God (2 Cor. 5:21).
