Collin Morvay

I was born and raised in Chapin, South Carolina to a loving and Christ centered family. I grew up active in church and always had many godly influences to look up to that helped shape my walk with Christ. I was able to make my public confession of faith in middle school and began to get involved with the youth praise band through the encouragement of my older brothers. It wasn’t until I went to college that my

faith was truly put to the test.

Through many trials, tribulations and immeasurable amounts of grace, my personal relationship with God was restored. I had a new awareness for my life and was finally able to “draw near [to God] with a true heart in full assurance of faith,” as the author of Hebrews describes.

In 2018 I met my wife, Leah, while working at a Christian summer camp in Arkansas. We married in late 2020 and we've both been extremely fortunate to serve and worship alongside one another since then. We love our church family so much, and we are very thankful, through God’s providence, to be here at Rivercrest.
