Adam Williams

Pastor

Adam and his wife, Lauri, both grew up in Columbia, South Carolina. Products of Dutch Fork High School, and The University of South Carolina, they love this area and are eager to see East Lexington, and greater Columbia, transformed through the hope and grace of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

After spending ten years in the family electrical contracting business, Adam began to sense that God was calling him into full-time ministry and he began working on his Masters of Divinity through LAMP Theological Seminary in 2011. He was then called to the Pastoral Staff of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Irmo, SC in 2012.

His desire is to faithfully proclaim the glorious truth that Jesus came to the earth to save sinners, and that even we can be saved in Him.  He was ordained as a Teaching Elder in the PCA in 2017.

Adam and Lauri first met in 4-year-old pre-school. They were married in 2002 and now have four children: one daughter, Cayden, and two sons, Tucker and Logan, as well as Claire, whom God saw fit to bring into their lives. You can usually find their family out on Lake Murray, on a sports field somewhere, or just enjoying time at home with family and friends. You can also find Adam and his family at Irmo High School on Friday nights in the fall, where he serves as an Assistant Coach with the varsity football team.
