Director of Worship Music
Gregory was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, and moved with his family to the Columbia area when he was nine. From an early age Gregory has felt the call to help lead others in worshiping the Triune God of the Bible.
Growing up in a family of eight children, Gregory was homeschooled and graduated High School in 2002. Following after his love for music, Gregory chose to attend North Greenville University and earned his Bachelors of Arts degree in Music Composition.
Due to his love for people, Gregory spent the next 12 years after college working in customer service for Chick-fil-A and then BB&T. During this time Gregory also worked part time teaching music lessons and on various church staffs, including Rivercrest since January of 2018. Having felt the call into vocational ministry, Gregory moved into a full time role at Rivercrest in December of 2019, where he continues leading worship, teaching music and composing/arranging for various groups and settings.
Gregory met his wife, Hannah Mae, in 2008, and they were married in 2013. They share a mutual love of music and look forward to working together to share the Gospel of our Lord and Savior through the singing of psalms, hymns and spiritual songs at Rivercrest. They have two beautiful children: one daughter, Kyleigh, and a son, Lawton.
